Anita Gude

Anita Gude was born and raised in New Zealand and studied viola at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington before going on to study at the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario, Canada. She then moved to the Netherlands where she graduated from the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. In 1995, she co-founded the Van Dingstee Quartet but left two years later to join the Auckland Philharmonic in New Zealand. Anita returned to the Netherlands in 2001 and plays viola in various orchestras, including the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Essen Philharmonic, Holland Symfonia, the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Brabants Orchestra and the Gelders Orchestra.

In addition to her work as violist, she now develops musical performances for children. This has resulted in the creation of Musical Mysteries.
